I needed something similar. Thanks for posting this.

I wanted something that would simply output converted output, allowing me to pipe it or write it to disk as needed.

This does the trick:

#!/usr/bin/env ruby

require ‘rubygems’
require ‘RedCloth’

if ARGV.size != 1
puts “Usage: textile2html FILE”
exit
end

print RedCloth.new(IO.read(ARGV[0])).to_html

Quick little tip about http://groovylists.com which allow you to import your spotify (and itunes) playlists into grooveshark.

Hi!

I ue¡sed in the past your entry about Digital TV. BUT, right now, after install Ubuntu 10.04, i try reinstall the driver follow your post, BUT in this line:

hg clone http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-kernel

It’s get a error. I can’t connect with mcentral.de, i don’t now if it is a temporary error or not.

Hi,
I tried your instructions but when it comes to cloning the driver from http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-kernel it says connection refused. is it still working site or what?!!

Hey Feri,

Sorry to disappoint you, but I’m not the one maintaining the source. I wrote this article a long time ago, so I’m not sure how accurate it is anymore. Apparently, the link you posted doesn’t work anymore. You could probably just google around a bit to find wherever the source is located nowadays.

Får nu se när dom kommer till England o hur dom säljs där. Kan vara lite svårt när den säljs direkt av Google. Sku den bara vara en normal HTC telefon sku no garantin fungera här helt normalt, men de e lite svårt o säga. Kan vara bäst att endera vänta att den kommer officiellt till Finland, eller att det kommer en motsvarande telefon av HTC som inte är Google-brandad.

Du skrev i nån annan post att de blev problem me iPhone som va köpta från Italien eftersom man int fick garanti på dom. Hu blir de sen om man köper Nexus One från England, om den går sönder kan man väl int föra den nånstans när dom int äns säljs i Finland?

Surely Microsoft wouldn’t make it easier to share media and software between the MS platform and the Mac platform. Neither would Mac developers. Anyways, thanks for this idea… I’ve tried it and it works. But like you said the multichannel tracks are gone and my sister doesn’t like it. But personally I don’t think it really matters because most of the media is still intact.

Would it be possible for you to make the source of your fork of tvtime available once more?

It was the only version that worked and compiled well for me on 64bit.
